The Apollo 55000-190APO AlarmSense A1R Standard Heat Detector with standard base provides dependable heat detection for conventional two-wire systems.

Classified as A1R, the detector operates with a fixed upper temperature threshold of 57°C while also responding to rapid temperature rises of approximately 12–15°C per minute. This dual response improves fire detection speed while helping to reduce nuisance alarms in challenging environments.

The detector is suitable for areas where smoke detection may be inappropriate, such as kitchens, workshops and dusty or steamy locations.

Part of the AlarmSense range, it connects to a two-wire circuit that allows detectors, sounders and call points to be installed on a single cable pair, simplifying installation and reducing wiring costs.
