The Apollo 55000-390APO AlarmSense Optical Smoke Detector with standard base provides reliable smoke detection using the proven light scatter principle. When smoke particles enter the sensing chamber and reach a pre-set threshold, the detector switches to alarm, offering early warning of developing fires.

This optical detector is particularly effective at detecting slow-burning and smouldering fires, making it well suited to bedrooms, corridors and escape routes.

As part of the Apollo AlarmSense range, the device operates on a two-wire system that allows detectors, sounders and call points to be connected on a single cable pair. This reduces installation time, lowers wiring costs and simplifies system configuration.

This set includes the compatible AlarmSense standard detector base for straightforward installation.
