The Apollo 55000-197APO AlarmSense CS High Temperature Heat Detector with sounder base combines the 55000-193 CS Heat Detector and the Apollo 45681-510 sounder base in a single, integrated solution.
Designed for high ambient temperature environments, the CS heat detector operates at a fixed temperature of 90°C, making it suitable for areas such as boiler rooms, plant rooms and industrial spaces where smoke detection may not be appropriate.
The integrated sounder base provides both detection and audible warning at one point, helping to simplify system design and reduce installation time.
As part of the AlarmSense range, the unit connects to a two-wire circuit that allows detectors, sounders and call points to be installed on a single cable pair, streamlining wiring and lowering overall installation costs.
Apollo 55000-197APO
High Temperature Heat Detector
Can be used for applications where smoke detectors are unsuitable
Ideal environments that are dirty or smoky under normal conditions
