The Apollo 55000-190APO AlarmSense A1R Standard Heat Detector is designed for reliable heat detection in environments where smoke detectors may not be suitable.

This A1R classified detector provides both a fixed upper temperature limit of 57°C and rate-of-rise detection, responding to rapid temperature increases of approximately 12–15°C per minute for faster fire recognition.

Part of the AlarmSense range, this detector is engineered for two-wire conventional systems, allowing detectors, sounders and call points to be connected on a single pair of cables. This simplifies installation, reduces wiring costs and improves system efficiency.

The unit features a clear 360° LED indicator for easy visual status confirmation and is suitable for kitchens, plant rooms, workshops and other areas prone to dust, steam or fumes.

A compatible base is required and is supplied separately.
