Astro Intumescent Fire Door Strip - Fire Seal (Twin Blade)

The Astro Intumescent Fire Door Strip – Twin Blade is designed to provide effective fire and cold smoke sealing within fire door assemblies, helping to maintain compartmentation and compliance.

Each strip combines a graphite-based intumescent core with an integrated neoprene twin-blade smoke seal, all housed within a durable PVC carrier. The strip fits neatly into a rebate in either the door leaf or frame, allowing for a discreet and professional installation.

In the event of a fire, the intumescent material expands significantly to seal the gap around the door, restricting the spread of fire, smoke and hot gases. The twin-blade smoke seal provides continuous resistance to cold smoke during normal conditions, which is critical as smoke often spreads faster than flames.

Supplied with a self-adhesive backing as standard, Astrostrip Twin Blade seals are quick to install on both new and existing fire doors.
