Astro X Intumescent Pipe Wrap

Astro X Intumescent Pipe Wrap provides EI120 fire protection for plastic pipe penetrations and is tested to EN 1366-3:2009. Designed for pipe sizes up to 200 mm, its ultra-thin profile allows installation in tight or confined areas.

The wrap is engineered to seal service penetration openings containing combustible pipes, using thermoplastic composites with graphite-based intumescent technology. When exposed to heat, the material expands to create a high-pressure seal that closes gaps and reinstates the fire resistance of the wall or floor.

Suitable for flexible walls, rigid walls, rigid floors and use alongside Batt systems, the Astro X Series CE Pipe Wrap works with PVC, PP, HDPE and PE pipes. It is supplied in a lightweight PVC carrier that contains the intumescent component, which activates under fire conditions to seal and crush the softened pipe, preventing fire spread.

The product is CE and UKCA marked and holds UL-EU accreditation, with fire classifications in accordance with EN 13501-2. It is intended for internal use.
