The Kentec LD-WL8-OUT-FS Wireless Lockdown Single Output Module is designed for use as part of a Kentec Wireless Lockdown System. It provides a wireless single channel failsafe fault output, allowing the system to signal fault conditions to monitoring equipment or other connected systems.

The module is compatible with the LD-WL8-TRH Lockdown Translator and LD-WL8-EXP Lockdown Expander modules. It provides a switched voltage output to drive an auxiliary relay and is allocated to pre-configured address 7 on the translator for failsafe fault output operation.

The LD-WL8-OUT-FS activates on fault conditions within the lockdown system, including tamper, low voltage and communication faults. It is also configured to activate automatically if it loses communication due to a failure of the Lockdown Translator, supporting failsafe fault signalling.

Kentec recommends using the module with the 10-2710WSR-S Identifire Auxiliary Relay. This relay provides a volt free changeover output rated at 5A @ 30V DC or 8A @ 230V AC, allowing the fault status of the lockdown system to be signalled to other monitoring equipment.

The module includes bi-directional wireless communication, self-optimising wireless amplitude and frequency and monitoring for communication, tamper and low battery voltage fault states. An LED status indicator flashes red when the output is active in the default setting, with optional standby and fault indication available if configured.
