Kentec LD-WL8-IN Wireless Lockdown Single Input Module

The Kentec LD-WL8-IN Wireless Lockdown Single Input Module is designed for use within a Kentec Wireless Lockdown system. It provides a single monitored input that can be used to create remote lockdown activation points around a site.

The module can monitor the status of a volt free changeover contact, such as a key-operated switch or manual call point device. When activated, the module sends a signal to the Wireless Lockdown Translator, which then activates the voice annunciators to play the correct lockdown message.

Each LD-WL8-IN input is allocated to a wireless address between 11 and 20. These addresses are pre-configured to play Voice Annunciator message 1 across the system when the input is activated, making the module suitable for additional lockdown activation points in key locations around a building.

The input is fully monitored for open and short circuit fault conditions. The module is also monitored for communication, tamper and low battery voltage fault states, with faults able to activate the failsafe output module within the wireless lockdown system.

An LED status indicator is provided on the module. In the default setting, the LED remains off in standby and flashes red when activated. It can also be configured to flash green for standby and yellow for fault indication, although this will reduce battery life.
