Kentec LD-WL8-LIP Lockdown Indicator Panel

The Kentec LD-WL8-LIP Lockdown Indicator Panel is an optional monitoring panel for the Kentec Wireless Lockdown Notification System. It provides clear system indication, fault reporting and event logging for wireless lockdown installations, helping authorised personnel and service engineers understand the status of the system quickly.

The panel can monitor up to 2 loops of wireless lockdown devices. It monitors a single lockdown notification system via 1 addressable loop as standard, with the option to monitor a second system by adding a second loop card. The panel is hard wired to the LD-WL8-TRH Wireless Lockdown Translator Module and receives device status information from the wireless system.

The LCD provides detailed information on system events, including which wireless lockdown input has been activated, fault conditions relating to wireless lockdown devices and diagnostic information for identifying fault causes. A 500-entry event log is included to support investigation and review after activations or system events.

The LD-WL8-LIP is based on Kentec Syncro AS technology and uses Hochiki ESP loop protocol. It includes an internal 3A power supply and is capable of supplying power to the Wireless Lockdown Translator, removing the need for a separate translator power supply in suitable system designs.

The panel also provides programmable relay outputs for signalling or controlling other equipment, with default relay settings for failsafe fault, lockdown activated and alarm.
