Espire ES1HRV Mains Powered Heat Alarm (Replaceable 9V Battery)

The Espire ES1HRV is a mains powered heat alarm with a replaceable 9V alkaline backup battery, designed for fixed residential fire alarm installations.

Using A2 heat detection technology with a 58°C activation temperature, it is suitable for areas where a smoke alarm may be prone to nuisance activations, including kitchens, garages and loft areas.

Powered from a 230V AC mains supply, the ES1HRV provides continuous mains operation with battery backup protection in the event of a power failure.

The replaceable 9V battery offers straightforward maintenance, while the anti-tamper lock-in wiring base supports secure installation.

The alarm includes clear three-colour LED status indication, with green for power, yellow for fault and red for fire.

An auto-dimming power LED adjusts between day and night mode to reduce disturbance in low-light conditions. The manual Test/Hush button checks the sensor, electronics and sounder, helping installers and homeowners confirm the alarm is operating correctly.

With an 85dB sounder output at 3 metres, the ES1HRV provides a clear audible warning during activation. It supports wired interconnection with up to 28 compatible Espire alarms over a maximum interconnect wiring distance of 300 metres, helping ensure alarms sound throughout the property when one device activates.

The unit is housed in a white UL94-V0 rated UV stabilised ABS enclosure and is supplied with a 5-year warranty. It is designed for Grade D2 domestic fire alarm systems and should be installed by a qualified electrician in line with the relevant wiring regulations.
