Espire ES1SRV Mains Powered Optical Smoke Alarm (Replaceable 9V Battery)

The Espire ES1SRV is a mains powered optical smoke alarm with a replaceable 9V alkaline backup battery, designed for fixed residential fire alarm installations.

Using optical smoke sensing technology, it is suitable for living areas, bedrooms, escape routes and stairways, helping provide early warning of fire in key circulation and sleeping areas.

Powered from a permanent 230V AC mains supply, the ES1SRV includes battery backup to maintain protection if mains power is interrupted. The replaceable 9V PP3 alkaline battery provides a practical maintenance option for Grade D2 domestic alarm systems, while the anti-tamper lock-in wiring base supports secure installation.

The alarm features a clear 85dB sounder output at 3 metres and three LED indicators for power, fault and fire status.

An auto-dimming power LED adjusts between day and night mode, helping reduce light disturbance in bedrooms and other low-light areas. The manual Test/Hush button checks the sensor, electronics and sounder, making routine testing straightforward.

For interconnected systems, the ES1SRV supports hard wired interconnection with up to 28 compatible Espire alarms over a maximum wiring distance of 300 metres. When one alarm activates, all interconnected alarms will sound, improving warning coverage across the property.

Additional features include dust compensation, insect mesh, a 24-hour memory function and clear LED status indication. Housed in a white UL94-V0 rated UV stabilised ABS enclosure, the ES1SRV is suitable for ceiling or wall mounting and is supplied with a 5-year warranty.
