Espire ES1CLV Mains Powered Carbon Monoxide Alarm (10 Year Lithium Battery)

The Espire ES1CLV is a mains powered carbon monoxide alarm with a sealed 10-year lithium backup battery, designed for fixed residential installation.

It provides CO detection for areas where carbon monoxide risk may be present, including rooms with fuel-burning appliances, kitchen areas, living rooms, bedrooms and rooms with a flue running through them.

Powered from a permanent 230V AC mains supply, the ES1CLV includes a non-replaceable 10-year lithium battery to provide backup protection during mains power interruptions.

The alarm is designed for Grade D1 domestic systems and is supplied with an anti-tamper lock-in wiring base for secure installation.

The alarm uses carbon monoxide sensing technology with low, medium and high CO detection levels. It is designed to respond in line with BS EN 50291-1:2018, with alarm response times of 60-90 minutes at 50ppm, 10-40 minutes at 100ppm and less than 3 minutes at 300ppm.

Clear three-colour LED indication shows power, fault and fire/CO status, while the 85dB sounder provides a strong audible warning during activation.

The integrated auto-dimming power LED reduces night-time disturbance, and the manual Test/Hush button allows the sensor, electronics and sounder to be checked during routine testing.

The ES1CLV supports hard wired interconnection with up to 28 compatible Espire alarms over a maximum wiring distance of 300 metres. It is also compatible with the optional ES1RF RF-Link module, allowing wireless or hybrid interconnection where required.
