Espire ES1MULV Mains Powered Smoke & Heat Multi-Sensor Alarm (10 Year Lithium Battery)

The Espire ES1MULV is a mains powered smoke and heat multi-sensor alarm designed for fixed residential installations. It combines optical smoke detection with A2 heat sensing, providing two forms of fire detection within a single device.

Suitable for living areas, bedrooms, loft spaces, escape routes and stairways, the alarm is powered from a permanent 230V AC mains supply and includes a sealed, non-replaceable 10-year lithium backup battery. This supports continued operation during a mains power interruption while meeting the requirements of a Grade D1 domestic alarm system.

The optical smoke sensor is supported by dust compensation and an insect mesh to help maintain reliable operation. The integrated heat sensor activates at 58°C, while the 85dB sounder provides a clear audible warning at 3 metres.

Three LED indicators show power, fault and fire status. The green power LED automatically dims in low-light conditions to reduce disturbance at night, while the Test/Hush button checks the sensor, electronics and sounder during routine testing. A 24-hour memory function also helps identify an alarm that has previously activated.

The ES1MULV supports hardwired interconnection with up to 28 compatible Espire alarms over a maximum distance of 300 metres. Wireless and hybrid interconnection are also available when the optional ES1RF RF-Link Module is fitted.
