Espire ES1SLV Mains Powered Optical Smoke Alarm (10 Year Lithium Battery)

The Espire ES1SLV is a mains powered optical smoke alarm with a sealed 10-year lithium backup battery, providing reliable fire detection for residential properties.

Designed for Grade D1 domestic fire alarm systems, it is suitable for installation in living areas, bedrooms, hallways, stairways and escape routes, helping provide early warning of slow-smouldering fires where optical sensing technology offers effective performance. The alarm complies with the recommendations of BS 5839-6:2019 for domestic fire detection systems.

Powered from a continuous 230V AC mains supply, the ES1SLV incorporates a non-replaceable 10-year lithium backup battery to maintain protection during mains power failures.

The alarm features a high-output 85dB sounder, clear three-colour LED status indication and an auto-dimming power LED that reduces brightness in low light conditions to minimise disturbance during the night.

Designed to simplify installation and long-term maintenance, the ES1SLV includes a lock-in anti-tamper wiring base, dust compensation technology, insect mesh protection and a 24-hour alarm memory function that helps identify which alarm activated within an interconnected system.

A combined Test/Hush button allows regular functional testing while temporarily silencing nuisance alarms when appropriate.

The alarm supports hard wired interconnection of up to 28 compatible Espire alarms over distances of up to 300 metres. For greater installation flexibility, it can also be upgraded with the optional ES1RF RF-Link module to create wireless or hybrid interconnected systems.
