Espire ES1MUL Battery Powered Smoke & Heat Alarm (10 Year Lithium Battery)

The Espire ES1MUL is a battery powered smoke and heat multi-sensor alarm designed for fixed residential installations. Combining optical smoke detection with A1 heat sensing, it provides two forms of fire detection within a single alarm and is suitable for living areas, bedrooms, loft spaces, escape routes and stairways.

Powered by a sealed, non-replaceable 10-year lithium battery, the ES1MUL offers long-term protection without the need for mains wiring or routine battery replacement. It is designed for Grade F1 domestic fire alarm systems and is supplied with an anti-tamper lock-in base for secure ceiling mounting.

The optical smoke sensor detects smoke particles, while the integrated heat sensor activates at 58°C. This multi-sensor design supports broader fire detection coverage across a range of domestic environments. The alarm produces an 85dB sounder output at 3 metres and includes clear red fire and yellow fault LED indicators.

A combined Test/Hush button checks the sensor, electronics and sounder during routine testing. The alarm also includes dust compensation and an insect mesh to help support reliable operation, while the 24-hour memory function assists with identifying an alarm that has previously activated.

The ES1MUL does not support wired interconnection, but it can be wirelessly linked with compatible Espire alarms using the optional ES1RF2 RF-Link Module. Up to 28 compatible devices can be interconnected, helping improve alarm audibility throughout the property.
