Espire ES1SL Battery Powered Optical Smoke Alarm (10 Year Lithium Battery)

The Espire ES1SL is a battery powered optical smoke alarm designed for fixed residential installations. It is suitable for living areas, bedrooms, escape routes and stairways, providing smoke detection without the need for a mains connection.

Powered by a sealed, non-replaceable 10-year lithium battery, the alarm offers long-term operation without routine battery replacement. It is designed for Grade F1 domestic alarm systems and can be mounted on either a ceiling or wall, depending on the installation requirements.

The optical smoke sensor is supported by dust compensation and an insect mesh to help maintain reliable performance. An 85dB sounder provides a clear audible warning at 3 metres, while red and yellow LEDs indicate fire and fault conditions.

The manual Test/Hush button checks the sensor, electronics and sounder during routine testing. The alarm also includes a 24-hour memory function to help identify a device that has previously activated.

The ES1SL does not support wired interconnection, but it can be wirelessly linked with compatible Espire alarms when fitted with the optional ES1RF2 RF-Link Module. Up to 28 compatible devices can be included within the interconnected system.
