Espire ES1REM Battery Powered RF Remote Control Switch (10 Year Lithium Battery)

The Espire ES1REM is a battery powered RF-Link remote controller designed to provide central control and status information for compatible Espire alarms. It allows users to test interconnected alarms, identify the type and source of an activation, hush suitable alarms and review the most recent alarm event from one accessible device.

Powered by a sealed, non-replaceable 10-year lithium battery, the controller requires no mains wiring and can be wall mounted or positioned on a desk. Its compact design makes it suitable for convenient placement within a residential property, while the built-in 868.3MHz RF-Link connection provides an open-field range of up to 100 metres.

The ES1REM features four control buttons for Test, Select, Mode and Code functions. Eight LED indicators provide clear visual feedback for smoke, heat, carbon monoxide and low battery conditions, alongside locate, hush, system memory and alarm test functions.

During an activation, the remote controller identifies the alarm type and can activate Locate Mode, silencing interconnected alarms other than the device that triggered the event. Where it is safe to do so, the activated alarm can then be hushed for 10 minutes. The controller can also recall the most recent activation and identify the alarm responsible.

Up to 28 compatible RF-Link devices can be included within the system, with the ES1REM occupying one device position. The controller must be programmed as the primary device when setting up the RF-Link network.
