Espire ES1RBRF Mains Powered Relay Base With Backup Battery & RF-Link Module

The Espire ES1RBRF is a mains powered RF-Link relay base designed to switch compatible third-party equipment when an Espire alarm activates. It combines hardwired interconnection with a built-in RF-Link receiver, allowing it to operate within wired, wireless or hybrid Espire alarm systems.

Powered from a 230V AC mains supply, the relay base includes a sealed, non-replaceable rechargeable lithium backup battery. If mains power is lost, the battery can power the base for up to six hours and support up to ten relay switching operations.

The volt-free SPDT relay provides normally open, normally closed and common contacts, with a maximum switching capacity of 8A at 250V AC for resistive loads. Relay operation can be set to continuous or pulsed. In pulsed mode, the relay switches for five seconds when an alarm signal is received before automatically returning to its previous state.

Its integrated 868.3MHz RF-Link receiver allows the ES1RBRF to respond to compatible wireless Espire alarms over an open-field range of up to 100 metres. It also supports hardwired interconnection over distances of up to 300 metres, with a maximum of 28 compatible devices supported across the system.

The LED indicator displays power, RF pairing, alarm reception and low battery status. Manufactured from white UL94-V0 rated UV stabilised ABS, the unit can be mounted on a ceiling or wall and is covered by a 5-year warranty. The ES1RBRF should be installed as a standalone relay base and is not designed to have an Espire alarm mounted on top.
