Espire ES1CHL Battery Powered Carbon Monoxide & Heat Multi-Sensor Alarm (10 Year Lithium Battery)

The Espire ES1CHL is a battery powered carbon monoxide and heat multi-sensor alarm designed for fixed residential installations. Combining carbon monoxide detection with A1 heat sensing, it is suitable for fuel-burning areas and kitchen areas where both CO and heat risks need to be monitored.

Powered by a non-replaceable 10-year lithium battery, the ES1CHL provides long-term protection without the need for mains wiring. The alarm uses a 3V lithium CR17450 battery and is designed for Grade F1 domestic alarm systems, making it suitable for properties where a battery powered solution is required.

The heat sensor has an A1 detection class with a 58°C activation temperature, while the carbon monoxide sensor provides low, medium and high CO detection levels. The alarm response times are designed to act in accordance with BS EN 50291-1:2018, with response times of 60-90 minutes at 50ppm, 10-40 minutes at 100ppm and less than 3 minutes at 300ppm.

A clear 85dB sounder output at 3 metres provides audible warning during activation, while three LED indicators show power, fault and fire/CO status. The manual Test/Hush button checks the sensor, electronics and sounder, and the 24-hour memory function helps identify previous alarm activations.

The ES1CHL can be wirelessly interconnected with compatible Espire alarms using the optional ES1RF2 RF-Link Module. Up to 28 compatible alarms can be interconnected using RF-Link, helping improve alarm audibility across the property.
