Overview Features

This 25mm x 3mm x 2020mm rebated intumescent fire seal is designed to fit neatly into a groove in the door leaf or frame, helping to maintain the fire performance of a fire door by sealing the gap when exposed to heat.

In a fire, the intumescent material expands to close off gaps around the door edge, reducing the passage of fire, hot gases and smoke and supporting safer escape routes. The self-adhesive backing makes installation quicker and helps keep the strip in place while you fit and finish the rebate.

The rebated intumescent fire seal a practical option for new fire door installations, maintenance work and door upgrades where a tidy, rebated finish is required.
