Overview Features

An Intumescent Fire Door Seal is designed to protect the door perimeter by expanding when exposed to heat, sealing the gap between the door leaf and frame and helping to slow the spread of fire and hot gases.

Fitted into the rebate of the door leaf or frame, this intumescent strip stays discreet during normal use but activates quickly in a fire to help maintain the integrity of a fire door assembly. It’s a practical choice for new fire door installations, maintenance work and upgrading existing doors where compliant edge sealing is required.

Supplied with a self-adhesive backing for faster fitting and a secure hold, it’s available in a range of sizes and colours to suit different door types and finishes.
