Soudal Expanding Fireproof Foam

Soudal Expanding Fireproof Foam is a one-component, self-expanding polyurethane foam designed for sealing, filling and insulating joints and penetrations where fire resistance is required.

Supplied in a 750ml ready-to-use aerosol can, this fire-rated foam contains HCFC and CFC-free propellants and is suitable for application using a compatible foam gun. The formulation offers excellent adhesion to most common construction materials, making it suitable for a wide range of fire stopping and sealing applications within commercial, industrial and residential buildings.

Tested to EN 1366-4, the foam provides fire resistance in joints for up to 240 minutes when used in suitable applications. In addition to its fire-retardant properties, it delivers excellent thermal and acoustic insulation performance, helping to reduce heat loss and airborne sound transmission through gaps and service penetrations.

The foam features high filling capacity and controlled expansion, allowing installers to efficiently seal irregular voids and cavities. Once cured, it provides a durable seal with minimal shrinkage and excellent dimensional stability.
