Overview Features

This 48mm x 4mm x 2020mm rebated intumescent fire seal is designed to fit neatly into a groove in the door leaf or frame, helping to maintain the fire performance of a fire door by sealing the gap when exposed to heat.

In a fire, the strip expands to close off gaps around the door edge, reducing the passage of fire and hot gases and supporting safer escape routes. Supplied with a self-adhesive backing for quicker installation and a clean finish once fitted into the rebate.

This version is supplied in brown only, ideal where you want the seal to blend in with darker timber finishes.
