The Envirograf intumescent water-based putty is a non-setting fire stopping compound designed for sealing around metal pipes and cable penetrations.
It provides effective fire protection where services pass through walls, floors and other construction elements.
The putty remains permanently flexible, allowing it to accommodate movement without cracking or shrinking over time.
Its non-setting formulation makes it easy to apply, remove or rework during installation or future maintenance.
Once installed, the putty is unaffected by moisture, making it suitable for use in internal environments where humidity may be present.
It is an ideal solution for maintaining fire compartmentation around service penetrations while allowing simple access if services need to be modified.
Tested to BS476 Parts 20 and 22 with up to 90 minutes fire integrity
Unaffected by moisture once the surface has sealed
Requires a minimum 50 mm clearance around round plastic pipes
Can be applied over PVC or foam for added fire protection
Must be painted over when used with round glass in steel frames
Supplied in a 1 kg tub
Store between +5°C and +30°C
Manufacturers Part Number | Product 59 BP |
Size | 310ml - 5kg |
Storage | +5°C/+30°C |
Standard | Tested to BS476: Part 20/22 1987 |
