Intumescent Acrylic & Acoustic Mastic w/ Optional Colour

This Intumescent Acrylic & Acoustic Mastic is a high-performance fire resistant sealant designed to provide a permanent and flexible seal against fire, smoke and toxic fumes.

It offers strong adhesion to a wide range of building materials and is suitable for protecting joints and gaps in doors, partitions, walls, floors and around steelwork such as RSJs.

The mastic is halon free and forms a tough surface skin within approximately fifteen minutes, allowing it to be painted once cured while remaining permanently flexible underneath.

In a fire, the sealant expands up to five times its original volume, creating an effective barrier that helps maintain compartmentation.

It is suitable for vertical or horizontal applications and can be used around door frames, ducting, cable trays, and partitions where reliable fire stopping is required.

The product has been tested extensively to British Standard BS476 Parts 20, 21 and 22 (1987), achieving integrity ratings of up to 249 minutes, and also tested to EN1363-1 (2000), achieving 126 minutes.

Available in a 310ml cartridge in white, grey, brown or black to blend with surrounding finishes.
