The Apollo 55000-395APO AlarmSense Integrating Optical Smoke & Sounder Beacon Base Set combines intelligent smoke detection with integrated audible and visual alarm signalling in one coordinated package.
This set includes the Apollo 55000-391 Integrating Optical Smoke Detector and the Apollo 45681-509 Sounder Beacon Base, delivering both detection and local notification from a single point. The integrating optical detector is designed for environments where transient smoke or brief contamination may occur, helping to reduce unwanted alarms by filtering short-term smoke sources before activation.
When an alarm condition is confirmed, the sounder beacon base provides a clear audible warning with selectable volume levels between 70 dB(A) and 87 dB(A), alongside a high-visibility visual indication. The base also monitors the removal of the detector head and reports a fault condition to the control panel, supporting system integrity.
As part of the AlarmSense range, the unit connects to a simple two-wire circuit shared by detectors, sounders and call points, reducing cabling requirements and streamlining installation.
Apollo 55000-395APO
Responds well to slow-burning, smouldering fires
Well suited for bedrooms and escape routes
360 visibility of LEDs
