The Apollo 55000-122APO Series 65 A1R Heat Detector is a reliable conventional detector suitable for use with most conventional fire alarm control panels.

Housed in a casing that matches other detectors in the Apollo Series 65 range, it ensures visual consistency across your system.

This A1R model uses a dual thermistor sensing network to monitor ambient temperature. It is designed to trigger an alarm when the temperature rises rapidly—between 12°C and 15°C per minute, or reaches a fixed threshold of 57°C.

This makes it ideal for areas where smoke detectors may cause false alarms, such as kitchens, boiler rooms, or garages.
