Apollo 55000-126APO Series 65 BR 57°C Heat Detector (Flashing LED)

The Apollo 55000-126APO Series 65 BR Heat Detector is a conventional rate-of-rise heat detector designed for areas where smoke detection is likely to cause unwanted alarms, such as kitchens, plant rooms, workshops or dusty environments.

It monitors temperature using a dual thermistor network and will signal an alarm on either a rapid rise in temperature or when a preset threshold is reached. The BR detector is set to respond to sudden temperature increases of around 12–15°C per minute and also has a fixed upper temperature limit of 65°C.

A flashing LED provides local indication, and the detector is intended for use with most conventional fire alarm control panels as part of an Apollo Series 65 system. Please note, the base is supplied separately.
