The Apollo 45681-201APO Series 65 Diode Base is designed for use on conventional fire alarm systems where manual call points and automatic detectors share the same circuit.

Fitted with an integral diode on the L1 IN and L1 OUT terminals, this base ensures correct circuit operation and continuity, allowing the system to continue functioning even if a detector is removed or not present. This makes it particularly useful in applications where device removal could otherwise compromise the zone.
