Apollo 55000-137APO Series 65 CS Heat Detector 90°C with Diode Base

The Apollo 55000-137APO Series 65 CS Heat Detector is a conventional fixed temperature heat detector supplied with a diode base, making it suitable for systems where manual call points and detector bases are wired on the same circuit.

It monitors ambient temperature using a dual thermistor network and signals the control panel when the alarm threshold is reached. The CS detector has a fixed upper temperature limit of 90°C, which makes it a practical option for higher ambient temperature areas where smoke detection is unsuitable.

This model is commonly used in locations that are dusty, steamy or subject to fumes under normal conditions, such as kitchens, plant rooms, workshops and some industrial areas, helping to reduce nuisance alarms compared with smoke detection.

Designed for use with most conventional fire alarm panels, it fits Apollo Series 65 bases and is a straightforward choice when standardising on Series 65 devices across a conventional system.
