The Nittan EVC-H-CS is a conventional high heat detector designed for reliable heat detection in environments where smoke detectors may not be the most suitable option.
Rather than detecting smoke particles, this thermistor-based detector responds to changes in temperature, using electronic components that detect resistance changes caused by heat.
With a high temperature operating threshold, the EVC-H-CS is suited to applications where elevated ambient temperatures, dust or airborne contaminants could lead to unwanted smoke detector activations.
The detector features Nittan’s OmniView 360 LED for clear visual alarm indication and includes an internal 375 Ohm alarm current limiting resistor.
