Hochiki YBO-R/6R Conventional Relay Base Latching (Ivory)

The Hochiki YBO-R/6R Conventional Relay Base is a reliable detector mounting base designed for use with the Hochiki CDX Range of Detectors, offering dependable performance in conventional fire detection and security systems. With a wide operating voltage range, the base is suitable for integration with most conventional fire alarm and security control panels, providing flexibility across a range of installations.

Engineered for straightforward installation and long-term durability, the YBO-R/6R features square cable clamps that provide quick, secure cable termination and support cables up to 2.5 mm in size. The base incorporates a bayonet slot design with low insertion force, allowing detectors to be fitted or removed quickly, helping reduce installation and maintenance time.

An integral remote indicator output is provided through a dedicated third terminal, enabling the connection of an external indicator for situations where detectors are installed in concealed or hard-to-view locations.

The base features a rugged construction designed for dependable operation in demanding environments. As the base does not maintain line continuity when the detector is removed, manual call points should be connected at the beginning of the zone when used within the same circuit.

Finished in ivory, the YBO-R/6R blends easily into most commercial and residential environments while delivering reliable functionality as part of a conventional detection system. The unit also has LPCB approval, confirming compliance with recognised fire safety standards.
