Overview Features

The Hochiki YBN-R/6RS Conventional Diode Base Latching Relay (Ivory) is a conventional detector mounting base designed for use with Hochiki CDX range detectors.

It includes an in-line Schottky diode to support line continuity during detector removal, allowing call points to remain wired in any order on the zone when used with a suitable control panel and end of line unit.

The base is supplied with square cable clamps for secure cable termination and accepts 2.5mm cables, helping installers achieve a reliable and tidy connection.

Its low-profile ivory design provides a neat finish once installed, while the bayonet detector fitting allows quick detector mounting with low insertion force.

This Hochiki detector base is suitable for conventional fire alarm installations using compatible CDX detectors.
