Eaton DET-2R-IO Wireless Water Detector & I/O Module Grade 2 Universal Transmitter

The Eaton (Scantronic) DET-2R-IO is a wireless Grade 2 universal transmitter that combines a wired zone input and a wired output in one compact radio module.

It is commonly used as a wireless water leak detector interface, but it can also be used to bring other compatible wired devices onto a Scantronic Secure Radio intruder alarm system.

It is designed for installations where a hard-wired detector or device needs to communicate back to the alarm panel by radio rather than by cable.

The single wired input is typically used with a flood or water leak probe, while the wired output gives added flexibility for broader input and output applications.

Using encrypted bidirectional Scantronic Secure Radio communication, the DET-2R-IO is intended to provide reliable signalling and fast status reporting within compatible Eaton (Scantronic) intruder alarm systems. This makes it a practical option for residential and light commercial installations where wireless expansion or environmental monitoring is required.

The unit is surface mounted and has a compact housing. It is CE marked, rated Grade 2 and suitable for operating temperatures from -10C to +55C.
