The Eaton (Scantronic) EXP-2R is a two-way radio expander for compatible intruder alarm systems, designed to add wireless detection capability where extending hard wiring is not practical.

It is a bus-connected expander intended for Grade 2 installations, with support for radio hold-up alarm functionality in Grade 3 applications.

It uses encrypted two-way wireless communication to support reliable signalling between the alarm system and connected radio devices.

The Eaton EXP-2R Intruder Alarm Expander is suited to residential and light commercial installations where extra wireless zones are needed to extend system coverage.

The EXP-2R is a practical option for upgrades, extensions and retrofit work, helping installers expand a system without running additional cables throughout the building.
