Eaton DET-2R-GB Glass Break Detector

The Eaton (Scantronic) DET-2R-GB is a wireless glass break detector designed for intruder alarm systems, using acoustic pattern recognition to identify the sound of breaking glass and send an alert to the system. It is a Grade 2 radio detector suited to internal use in residential and commercial properties.

It is designed to provide 360-degree acoustic detection from up to 6 metres away, giving installers flexibility over positioning within the protected room.

This makes it a practical option for protecting glazed areas without fitting a contact or shock sensor to every individual window.

The detector communicates using encrypted two-way Scantronic Secure Radio, helping provide reliable wireless signalling back to a compatible intruder alarm system. It is intended for quiet internal environments where acoustic glass break detection is appropriate.

The DET-2R-GB is CE marked and certified to EN 50131 Grade 2.
