The C-TEC LAP2/CA is a dedicated CAST addressable multi-message lockdown alert panel designed for managing lockdown, invacuation and emergency evacuation alerts across commercial and public premises.

Fully monitored and battery backed, it provides a central control point for delivering clear, situation-specific voice messages through compatible C-TEC CAST lockdown sounders and sounder VADs.

The panel has been developed to help venues prepare for the requirements of the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025, commonly known as Martyn’s Law. The legislation introduces public protection requirements for qualifying premises and events, including appropriate procedures for lockdown, communication and evacuation or invacuation.

Secure key-switch controls allow authorised users to select messages appropriate to different incidents, including internal threats requiring full or partial lockdown, external threats, full evacuation and an all-clear notification. Alternative or coded messages can also be arranged by special order.

The lockdown alert panel incorporates two CAST protocol loop drivers, allowing multiple compatible multi-message lockdown voice devices to be connected. Messages can also be initiated using compatible lockdown call points, enabling the system to be tailored around a venue's risk assessment and emergency procedures.

A full-colour 480 x 272 pixel touchscreen provides system information and controls, while C-TEC ENVISION Cloud compatibility supports remote or on-site incident monitoring and data management. Additional connectivity includes programmable inputs and relays, RS232, RS485 and optional high-integrity network connectivity.

Designed for use with C-TEC CAST lockdown alert voice sounders, voice sounder VADs and lockdown alert call points, the LAP2/CA provides a dedicated platform for clearly communicating different emergency instructions throughout a building.
