Apollo 55000-280APO Intelligent Dual IR Flame Detector

The Apollo Intelligent Dual IR² Flame Detector (55000-280APO) provides fast, reliable flame detection in areas where open fires may occur, such as aircraft hangars, coal handling, paper plants, and woodworking facilities. Featuring two infrared sensors that respond to different wavelengths, it accurately distinguishes flames from spurious radiation.

Sensitive to flickering IR radiation, the detector can detect flames that would otherwise be invisible to the naked eye through oil, dust, water, or ice. It offers a 90° field of view with coverage up to 40 m, supports remote optical self-tests, and is fully compatible with Apollo Discovery and XP95 protocols.
