The Apollo Intelligent IR³ Flame Detector provides reliable protection in areas where open flames may occur. It detects low-frequency, flickering infra-red radiation emitted during combustion, including flames invisible to the naked eye, such as hydrogen fires.

The Apollo Intelligent IR³ Flame Detector combines advanced multi-sensor detection with practical reliability. Its three IR sensors monitor different wavelengths to accurately distinguish real flames from false sources, such as flickering sunlight. The detector remains effective even when its lens is partially covered by oil, dust, water vapor, or ice, ensuring reliable operation in challenging environments.

Fast and responsive, it can detect flames over 25 m away and is unaffected by draughts, convection currents, or environmental factors like fumes, steam, dust, and mist. Loop-powered design eliminates the need for an external power supply while supporting remote LED alarm indicators. Fully compatible with Apollo XP95 and Discovery digital protocols, it integrates seamlessly into existing fire detection systems.
