The Apollo 55000-025APO Series 65 Conventional Base Mounted UV Flame Detector is designed to provide fast, reliable detection of open-flaming fires in enclosed indoor areas where flames are a foreseeable risk.
Using a single UV sensor with a narrow spectral response, it detects UV radiation produced during combustion while helping to reduce unwanted activation from common non-fire sources of radiation.
This makes it suitable for higher-risk applications where smoke detection may be too slow or inappropriate, and where rapid flame detection is required.
The detector is compatible with Apollo Series 65 conventional bases, allowing straightforward integration into Series 65 conventional fire alarm systems. Please note that the base is supplied separately.
Apollo 55000-025APO
Responds to stationary flames with no flicker
Sensitive to UV radiation emitted by flames during combustion
Compact flame detector which fits into Series 65 bases
Base supplied separately (please see related products below)
