Ajax Baseline NVR

The Ajax Baseline NVR is a network video recorder designed to bring Ajax and compatible third-party IP cameras together within the Ajax video management system. Available in 8-channel and 16-channel versions, it provides centralised video recording, live viewing and archive management through Ajax apps.

Ajax's proprietary JetSparrow technology provides fast peer-to-peer video transmission, while compatible third-party cameras can be integrated using ONVIF. The NVR supports video resolutions up to 4K at 25/30 fps, H.265 and H.264 decoding and network bandwidth of 100 Mbps.

Recorded footage can be stored on a 3.5-inch SATA hard drive with capacity up to 16 TB, allowing storage to be selected according to the required recording period and camera configuration. Archive tools include filters and calendar navigation, dual streaming for instant previews and video clip export. A customisable video wall also provides real-time oversight of connected cameras.

Security features include TLS-encrypted video streams, an mTLS handshake between the NVR and Ajax Cloud and configurable access rights. Account security supports passcodes, biometrics and two-factor authentication, while a tamper button provides notification if the unit is dismantled.

Installation is simplified by the supplied SmartBracket mounting panel, QR code connection and automatic discovery of available cameras on the local network. The NVR is available in black or white, with both 8-channel and 16-channel versions supporting integration with Ajax systems and video surveillance installations.
