The Ajax Baseline BulletCam HLVF is a wired AI-powered IP security camera designed for flexible indoor and outdoor video surveillance. Available in 5 MP and 8 MP versions, it combines a motorised varifocal lens, hybrid illumination, True WDR and intelligent video analytics in an IP67 and IK10 rated enclosure. Its 2.8–12 mm motorised varifocal lens with autofocus allows the field of view to be adjusted to suit the installation. A wider view can be used for general area coverage, while a more focused view provides greater detail where required. Autofocus provides a sharp image after adjustment, making the camera adaptable to different surveillance requirements.
Hybrid illumination supports IR lighting up to 60 m and white light illumination up to 40 m. When motion or an object is detected, the camera can automatically switch from infrared to white light to capture colour footage after dark. AI-powered object recognition distinguishes between people, vehicles and pets, while True WDR helps maintain image quality in scenes with challenging lighting conditions.
The BulletCam HLVF also features a built-in microphone with noise suppression and echo cancellation, plus alarm and audio inputs and outputs for connecting third-party devices. Ajax JetSparrow technology provides secure video streaming and archive navigation, while ONVIF Profile G and S conformity and RTSP support provide additional integration options.
Installation and management are handled through Ajax apps, including QR code system enrolment, remote configuration and real-time system health monitoring. The camera can also operate without an Ajax NVR, with footage stored locally when a microSD card is installed.
