Ajax Baseline DomeCam HLVF

The Ajax Baseline DomeCam HLVF is a wired AI-powered IP security camera designed for adaptable indoor and outdoor video surveillance. Available in 5 MP and 8 MP versions, it combines a motorised varifocal lens, hybrid illumination, intelligent object recognition and True WDR in a robust IP67 and IK10 rated dome enclosure.

Its 2.8–12 mm motorised varifocal lens with autofocus allows the viewing area to be adjusted for either wider coverage or a more focused view. Instant autofocus helps maintain a sharp image after adjustment, simplifying installation where precise scene coverage is required.

Hybrid illumination enables the camera to record in colour after dark. Infrared illumination provides a range of up to 40 m, while white light reaches up to 25 m. When motion or an object is detected, the camera can automatically switch from IR to white light, helping capture additional detail while the visible illumination can also act as a deterrent.

AI-powered object recognition identifies people, vehicles and pets, while True WDR helps improve image quality in scenes with contrasting light levels. A built-in microphone includes noise suppression and echo cancellation, and alarm and audio inputs and outputs allow connection to compatible third-party devices.

Ajax JetSparrow technology supports secure video streaming and archive navigation, while ONVIF Profile G and S conformity and RTSP support provide integration options. The DomeCam HLVF can also operate without an Ajax NVR, storing footage locally when a microSD card is installed.
