Ajax Baseline IndoorCam

The Ajax Baseline IndoorCam is an indoor Wi-Fi security camera combining a 4 MP camera, PIR motion sensor, built-in AI and two-way audio in a compact design. It uses Wi-Fi as its primary communication channel while supporting Ajax radio communication as a fallback when connected to a compatible Ajax hub.

The 4 MP CMOS sensor provides video at up to 2688 × 1520 pixels, with a wide 110° horizontal and 60° vertical viewing angle. HDR technology helps maintain image quality in challenging lighting, while smart IR illumination provides visibility at distances of up to 8 m in darkness.

Built-in AI recognises people, animals and vehicles, helping distinguish relevant activity, while the integrated PIR sensor provides motion detection at distances of up to 4 m. Video is transmitted using Ajax's proprietary JetSparrow protocol, with RTSP and ONVIF Profile S conformity also supported.

For communication at the premises, IndoorCam connects over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. When paired with an Ajax hub, Jeweller and Wings radio technologies provide a fallback communication channel with a stated range of up to 1,700 m in open space, allowing events, alarms and photos to continue transmitting if the Wi-Fi connection is lost.

Two-way audio combines a built-in audio system with noise suppression and echo cancellation. The camera's 1.5 W speaker delivers up to 85 dB, supporting clear communication through the device. An articulating mounting bracket allows convenient positioning without requiring the enclosure to be disassembled during installation.
