The SPRO DHIPNVR08-A5 is an 8 channel 12MP NVR designed for IP CCTV systems requiring high-resolution recording, integrated PoE connectivity and intelligent video analytics.

Eight built-in PoE ports allow compatible IP cameras to connect directly to the recorder, with each port supporting up to 25.5W and a total PoE power output of 72W.

Built-in AI capabilities include face detection and recognition, perimeter protection and SMD Plus. The recorder supports one channel of face detection and recognition using NVR-based AI, with capacity for up to 10 face databases containing 5,000 images. Camera-based AI functionality can also be used where supported.

Recording resolutions up to 12MP are supported, while HDMI output provides a maximum display resolution of 4K. When AI functions are disabled, decoding capability includes up to six 1080p channels at 25fps, with additional decoding options available for 4MP, 5MP, 8MP and 12MP video. Smart H.265+, H.265, Smart H.264+, H.264 and MJPEG compression formats provide broad encoding support.

A single SATA interface accommodates an HDD of up to 10TB, while recording can be backed up through USB. HDMI and VGA outputs are provided alongside RCA audio input and output. Network connectivity includes a Gigabit RJ-45 port, with ONVIF Profile T, S and G interoperability supported for compatible third-party cameras.
