The SPRO DHIPNVR16-A7 16 Channel 4K IP NVR records and manages footage from up to 16 IP cameras. Sixteen built-in PoE ports provide network connections and power for compatible cameras, reducing the need for separate PoE switches in a straightforward CCTV installation.

The recorder supports live viewing and recording at resolutions up to 16 MP, with HDMI output up to 4K and a separate VGA output. Smart H.265+, H.265, Smart H.264+, H.264 and MJPEG video compression options give flexibility when configuring footage quality and storage use. Two SATA ports support local hard drive storage, while recordings can be backed up over the network or to a USB device.

Built-in AI functions include face detection, face recognition, perimeter protection and SMD Plus. SMD Plus filters events involving people and motor vehicles to help reduce alerts caused by changes such as rain, leaves or lighting. The NVR also supports AI functions supplied by connected cameras, with capabilities depending on the camera and the number of channels in use.

Footage can be viewed locally, through a web interface or on iOS and Android devices. ONVIF support provides an option for connecting compatible third-party IP cameras. With 16-channel playback and a choice of general, event, tag and smart playback modes, the recorder is suited to commercial CCTV systems that need centralised recording and review.
