Overview Features

This intumescent fire door and smoke seal is designed to fit into the rebate of a fire door leaf or frame to help limit the spread of fire and smoke through the door gap.

In a fire, the intumescent core expands rapidly to seal around the door, helping to maintain the door’s integrity and reduce the passage of fire and hot gases. An integrated brush provides a continuous cold smoke seal during normal use, helping to reduce smoke leakage, which is especially important as smoke can spread quickly through a building.

Supplied with a self-adhesive backing for faster fitting and a tidy finish, this seal is suited to both new door installations and maintenance work on existing fire doors.

Tested to BS476: Part 22 (fire) and BS476: Part 31 (smoke)
Fire resistance up to 60 minutes
Integrated brush for cold smoke control
