The Hochiki SOC-E3N(BLK) Conventional Optical Smoke Detector is a high-performance photoelectric smoke detector designed for reliable fire detection across a wide range of conventional fire alarm systems. Compatible with the majority of existing conventional panels, it provides dependable protection while maintaining a low-profile, discreet appearance in black.
At the heart of the detector is Hochiki’s advanced high-performance optical smoke chamber, which detects smoke particles quickly and accurately, removing the need for ionisation detectors in most applications. The chamber features a unique baffle design that allows smoke to enter freely while preventing ambient light interference, helping maintain consistent detection performance.
The detector also incorporates Automatic Sensitivity Window Verification (ASWV) drift compensation technology, which continuously monitors contamination levels and automatically adjusts sensitivity to ensure optimal operation. If the contamination limit is exceeded, the integrated red LED provides a visual warning by flashing once every three seconds.
Designed with ease of installation and maintenance in mind, the SOC-E3N(BLK) features a removable smoke chamber for quick cleaning, a wide operating voltage range, and a 360° visible fire LED indicator for clear alarm status. A remote indicator output and compatibility with a range of mounting bases further enhance its installation flexibility.
