Envirograf EP/FS/IN Water Based Intumescent Coating

The Envirograf EP/FS/IN/WB is a water-based intumescent coating designed to provide fire protection to steel and aluminium structural elements.

When exposed to fire, the coating expands to form an insulating char, helping to protect the substrate and delay structural failure. The system can deliver up to 90 minutes fire resistance, depending on the thickness and section factor of the steel.

EP/FS/IN/WB offers a smooth, decorative finish and can be overpainted with most good-quality paints, making it suitable for applications where appearance is important. With the use of EP/FS/P Primer, the coating can also be applied to previously painted or coated surfaces, reducing preparation time during refurbishment projects.

The product has a consistency similar to standard emulsion paint and is easy to apply by brush, roller or spray. Under normal conditions, it dries in approximately one hour, allowing for efficient application on site.

Suitable for internal use, EP/FS/IN/WB provides a practical solution for upgrading the fire resistance of exposed steel and aluminium in commercial and industrial environments.
