C-TEC SigTEL EVC302GF Refuge Alarm Outstation (Green Flush Mount, Type B)

The C-TEC SigTEL EVC302GF is a flush-mounted Type B disabled refuge outstation designed for use with C-TEC’s SigTEL disabled refuge and emergency voice communication systems.

It allows a person located in a refuge area to call and communicate with a SigTEL Master Controller at the touch of a button, providing clear two-way communication during an emergency.

Finished in tough green steel, the EVC302GF is designed for durability while maintaining a clear, recognisable emergency call appearance.

The front plate includes a “Push to Call or Answer” button, red “Call in Progress” LED, buzzer, microphone and loudspeaker, giving users a simple and direct means of communication with building management or emergency response staff.

The unit offers true duplex speech, allowing both parties to communicate naturally without needing to take turns speaking. It also includes connections for an optional induction loop system, supporting improved accessibility for hearing aid users where required.

A general-purpose open collector output is provided, closing when the outstation is active. This can typically be used to trigger third-party equipment such as a CCTV camera when the refuge outstation is activated.

The EVC302GF is powered from a compatible SigTEL Master Controller and is designed for flush mounting. When correctly installed, it facilitates compliance with BS 5839-9, making it suitable for disabled refuge communication systems in commercial, residential and public buildings.
